In 1973, founder Yo Nishimura became independent from the Mitsubishi Metals Group and started Machine Tool Chuo Co., Ltd. as a machine tools trading company. Shortly after its founding, the company faced deteriorating business results due to the oil crisis, and entered the Japanese dental industry, which was lagging behind the rest of the world at the time, and began handling dental polishing instruments. Our abrasive products, including Perula Diamond, which we developed and manufactured in-house, have continued to be highly praised around the world. We started handling dental 3D printers in 2018. As the common sense that 3D printers are a luxury item has become widespread, the industry is facing challenges by selling high-quality products at low prices and having more dental clinics and laboratories utilize the latest digital technology. We would like to grow into a company that can contribute to the advancement of the industry as a whole by confronting the challenges of the concentration of dental clinics in cities, the decline in the number of technicians, and the shortage of human resources.
